At this time, individual and family therapy are the primary types of therapy I offer. My general approach is traditional talk therapy but this can include going for a walk if desired (and if the weather is permitting), utilizing arts and crafts, etc. I operate from the perspective that my job is to collaborate with you to determine the specific approach and experience that would work best for you. Below you’ll find a few different tools we can use in the session as well as therapeutic approaches I utilize.

This form of therapy is based on the idea that we are impacted by and connected with the natural world. “Ecotherapy” is an umbrella term for a variety of nature based therapies. My current approach based on my office’s location includes Walk and Talk therapy or talk therapy outdoors (seated in a private, comfortable area outside). Please be aware that sessions will not be conducted if there is ice/snow or if temperatures are above 85 degrees.

This type of therapy harnesses our ability as humans to create and imagine by using different forms of artistic expression. Often people find themselves struggling to express their experiences verbally and have found that other forms of expression can be beneficial. In my current practice, I utilize visual arts and writing as alternative expressive strategies. I hope, in the future, to be able to provide additional creative approaches so keep an eye out on this section!
